Two young boys discover a body on an abandoned farm. What specifically they were doing otu there w sanyone's guess. The remains are of a young woman named Mary Fleszar, apprehended and murdered by an unknown assailant 7-9-67, while walking back to her aprtment in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Mary is a college co-ed.
The last person to see her alive is a neighbor, who describes a dark grey Chevrolet truck driven by an unidentified suspect. The truck pulled up alongside Mary Fleszar. The perception of the witness was tha tthe unidentified perpetrator was attempting to pick Mary up. Mary shook her head twice, walking quickly away. She was never seen again.
Questions...
A young man, unidentified except as a "dark haired, good-looking young white man," enters the funeral home wherein the body of the unfortunate Mary Fleszar is currently stored. He asks to see the body, claims he is a "friend of the family," wants to get one final picture with...the body. He is rebuffed by the staff of the funeral parlor, who, under the circumstances, said that the young man's request would "just not be in keeping with standard operating procedures."
But, for some reason, these mortuary workers cannot give an adequate description of this young man.
